The Minneapolis Institute of Arts will host the largest ever collection of Rembrandt paintings, beginning June 24.
The exhibit, “Rembrandt in America,” features the largest number of authentic Rembrandt paintings ever assembled as well as pieces by his contemporaries, reported Vita.mn.
Work from the Dutch painter was collected on loan from 24 American museums as well as various private collections, reported the Pioneer Press.
After “Lucretia,” one of Rembrandt’s most famous works in possession of the MIA, was offered as a contribution to the exhibit, the institute became a partner of the exhibit.
The exhibit will end Sept. 16.
