University of Minnesota students were robbed in two separate Stadium Village incidents Thursday night, according to a timely warning sent by the University Friday.
At approximately 10:30 p.m., a group of four men approached the first victim near the intersection of Ontario Street Southeast and Washington Avenue Southeast and demanded valuables, according to the crime alert.
At approximately 11 p.m., a similar robbery was reported near the intersection of Oak Street Southeast and Delaware Street Southeast. Four men approached the second victim and demanded valuables.
One victim was punched in the face but didn’t need medical treatment, the alert said.
The suspects fled on foot from both robberies. The two incidents are believed to involve the same group of four male suspects between the ages of 17 and 24 who were wearing dark hoodies, according to the alert.
This is the fourth timely warning sent by the University since Sept. 2.
