After viewing the very large and very misleading “Justice For All” exhibit taking up almost the entire Northrop plaza, I thought it was important to get a few facts straight. First of all, the pictures in the exhibit show fully developed babies and imply that they are the results of abortions. In reality, 98 percent of abortions take place in the first 20 weeks, before the fetus is even close to fully formed. Roe v. Wade only protects abortion until the point of viability, except when the life or health of the mother is in danger. Most aborted fetus photography actually involves babies who died before birth, sometimes autopsy pictures and sometimes, as awful as it may sound, stillbirths dismembered for the purpose of taking the picture. Don’t let anti-choice propaganda misinform you. Get the facts.
