Three Minnesotans will head to the White House this summer.

Mackenzie Huffman, Zachary Nistler and Anthony Ufkin were among the 142 people chosen as part of the White House Internship Program.

The interns will work in a variety of offices including the Office of the First Lady, the Office of the Vice President and the Office of Legislative Affairs.

As part of their duties they will also attend lectures and participate in a long-term service project.
