In response to âÄúThe conservative moodâÄù letter, I completely agree that it was wrong for a professor to belittle and attack a studentâÄôs views and work. In fact, it is shameful. However, I am equally disappointed and disturbed by the proposition at the end of the letter calling on conservatives to âÄústart … kicking liberal ass.âÄù Then independents were prompted to âÄúchoose a sideâÄù and an outright declaration of war was made. This is also shameful. Adding fuel to fire is not the answer. Instead of polarizing, both sides need to compromise.
