General Mills made the top three on the 100 Best Places to Work in IT in a list posted by Computerworld magazine this week.
The Minnesota-based food giant was rated as the best in benefits and seventh in training, making it the overall third best employer in the country within the IT field.
Minneapolis’ Medtronic Inc. placed 23rd.
Five universities also managed to snag a ranking, with University of Pennsylvania awarded the sixth spot overall.
The list was made through a nation-wide survey with more than 500 companies, where participants were asked a range of questions about their workplace, from compensation to career opportunities and employee turnover.
