The University of Minnesota’s School of Social Work received a $1.28 million federal grant last week, and that money will help train graduate students to provide behavioral health services to kids and young adults.

The state’s social work industry has been scrutinized lately, especially with child protection cases. We hope this grant is put to use to help address some systemic issues that have hindered the protection of innocent kids.
