As Central Corridor light rail construction continues, there will be closures on roads near the University of Minnesota campus next week.

 

Portions of West Bank and Stadium Village roads will be shut down temporarily beginning on Sunday night, according to an update from the Metropolitan Council.

 

On the West Bank, the westbound Washington Avenue will be closed under Cedar Avenue beginning at 11 p.m. on Monday and will last until 7 p.m. on Tuesday.

 

For the Stadium Village area, parts of Washinton Avenue and Huron Boulevard will be closed overnight on Sunday and Monday. Further details are available in the update.

 

The closures won't change sidewalks or bus stops.
