Peace Corps officials are asking University students to give peace a chance as the organization kicks off Peace Corps Week.
The week, which began Monday, marks the 43rd year Peace Corps volunteers have aided communities in foreign countries. It offers potential volunteers the opportunity to learn more about the Peace Corps experience from former volunteers.
Drop-in office hours will be available 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday in Heller Hall, room 230.
Students can also stop by an information table from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m Thursday at the Cube on the lower level of Coffman Union. The Peace Corps will display information at Thursday’s Minnesota Employment Expo 2004 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Radisson Hotel Metrodome in Stadium Village.
