People traveling along Washington Avenue on Wednesday should expect delays and lane closures.
University of Minnesota officials will use vibration simulations to test the impacts of Central Corridor light-rail construction on research and equipment.
One lane on the south side of Washington Avenue will be closed from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Then a lane on the north side of the street will be closed from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Central Corridor construction is expected to begin in May 2011.
