Jerry Kill is at Ryan Field watching the Gophers-Northwestern game from the coach’s booth, a University spokesman told the Daily.
The spokesman said he heard before the game that Kill and his wife, Rebecca Kill, drove to Evanston, Ill., because Kill decided he couldn’t watch the game from home.
Kill has been on leave since Oct. 10 to focus on his epilepsy treatment. He is not coaching today.
The spokesman said he did not know whether Kill addressed the team at halftime, but the multiple other media outlets have reported it.
The spokesman said Kill will not adress the media after the game. Neither will Minnesota Athletics Director Norwood Teague.
