A suspect was arrested Monday after shots were fired at a Metro Transit bus, hospitalizing one passenger and wounding another, according to the Star Tribune.
Just after 9 p.m., near the intersection of E. 15th Street and Chicago Avenue, a passenger fired two shots at a southbound Route 5E bus after exiting out the back door. The shots broke a window and hit two passengers. The shots were fired after the passenger had an argument with other passengers.
Police retrieved a gun from the arrested suspect, Metro Transit spokesman Bob Gibbons told the Star Tribune. Streets were closed in the area until about 10:30 p.m.
