Bar-hoppers in Uptown won’t have to go far for a slice of Mesa.

Mesa Pizza, the popular pizza shop in Dinkytown, will soon have a new location in Uptown, according to the Southwest Journal. Its Managing Partner David Hathaway told the journal that he recently signed a lease for a space on W. Lake St.

The Dinkytown shop first opened its doors to near campus in 2006, and opened a second location in Iowa City in 2009. Mesa also expanded its Dinkytown location in 2009.

Mesa is known for its off-beat flavors like macaroni, quesadilla, and southern gentleman (garlic potatoes, chicken, cheddar and bacon) pizzas.
