Indeed, Steven Spielberg is the Father of the Blockbuster (you can thank him for âÄúTitanicâÄù and âÄúSpidermanâÄù). Go pay your respects at the Trylon and get some eye-candy as well with the classic âÄúRaiders of the Lost Arc.âÄù The Trylon 3258 Minnehaha Ave. 4:50 p.m., 7 p.m. Listen to this: Folksters Blitzen Trapper have a new installment called âÄúDestroyer of the VoidâÄù out this week. Eat this: The illustrious restaurant in the Guthrie (as well as A&EâÄôs favorite Beck album) Sea Change is having a Gastro Non Grata showcase with local guitarists Martin Devaney and Sheridan Fox. Drink this: Something about summer makes you want ginger. Maybe itâÄôs the rootâÄôs supposed health benefits, which come in handy during these drink and UV ray-filled days. Try SkyyâÄôs ginger vodka with some whiskey and ginger ale. Read this: Follow the hubbub surrounding The New York TimeâÄôs controversial profile of Sri Lankan-raised hip-hopper M.I.A. She hated how she was portrayed and tweeted the reporterâÄôs phone number. A bit much, but A&E thinks the article was snootier-than-thou and had it coming.
