Michelle Obama, the wife of presidential candidate Barack Obama, will be leading a âÄúChange We NeedâÄù rally on Monday afternoon at Macalester College in St. Paul. She will be talking about the economy and how it is affecting working families. She will also be discussing Barack ObamaâÄôs and Joe BidenâÄôs long records of standing up for women and families. The doors to the Leonard Center at 125 Snelling Ave. South will open at 2:30, and the speech is set to begin at 4:00. Tickets arenâÄôt required to attend the event, but the campaign strongly recommends going to mn.barackobama.com to RSVP because space is limited. Michelle Obama will be in St. Paul after a similar appearance in Rochester at noon. That event will be at the Taylor Arena of the Mayo Civic Center, with gates opening at 10:30 a.m.
