Redshirt senior center Mo Walker and freshman guard Nate Mason will practice Monday after sitting out Minnesota's 95-68 exhibition win over Minnesota-Duluth on Thursday.
Walker, who head coach Richard Pitino said could have suited up for the exhibition, practiced on Saturday after injuring his hamstring in a preseason scrimmage and looked "very healthy."
Mason strained his knee and didn't practice Saturday but will give it a go Monday. He hasn't practiced in about a week and needs to get up to speed before potentially going up against Lousiville's talented backcourt.
"We've got to get Nate some good practices under his belt before Friday," Pitino said.
The Cardinals starters, Chris Jones and Terry Rozier, are highly touted and Mason is the Gophers' primary backup point guard. If he can't go, then their depth will take a big hit.
