The city-wide fall street sweep is complete and the damage is done.

According to the City of Minneapolis, 2,518 vehicles were towed during the annual cleaning.  That’s up from the most recent sweeps.  In spring 2011, 2,315 vehicles were towed and in Fall 2010, 2,057 vehicles were towed. No parking citations were given this year. 

The city sweeps the city twice a year, once in the fall and once in the spring.
