An attempted abduction occurred early Thursday in the Marcy-Holmes neighborhood, according to a campus-wide timely warning sent out Thursday morning.
The attempted abduction took place near the 400 block of 6th Street Southeast around 7:10 a.m. The victim resisted and was able to escape and call police.
The suspect is a white male around 6 feet tall with a thin build, and wearing a blue hoodie and sweatpants, according to police. Officers responding to the call canvassed the area for witnesses and the investigation is ongoing.
Police are warning people in the area to use caution.
