The City of Minneapolis will begin sweeping the city Tuesday.
Workers will post signs at least 24 hours in advance of sweeping day. When signs are posted, cars will be prohibited from parking on that street from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and cars left will be towed.
More than 1,000 miles of street will be cleaned during the next three weeks.
Most of SE Como will be cleaned in the next few days while only a portion of the Marcy-Holmes neighborhood will be done this week.
More information, as well as a handy street by street look-up, is available online.
