Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak is slated to speak tonight at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolinal, according to the Star Tribune.
Rybak is the vice chair of the Demcoratic National Committee and an outspoken supporter of President Obama. According to Politico, via the Strib, Rybak is one of a handful of Demcoratic mayors at the convention who will fill high-ranking positions in the Democratic party in the future.
The 10-year mayor of Minneapolis is set to speak between 6:30 and 7 p.m.
