In light of the first ever NCAA selection show for women's golf, the Gophers found themselves in the No. 19 spot of the central regional.

Played in Stillwater, Okla., other notable teams competing in their region include UCLA, Arkansas, Alabama, Arizona, and LSU. Four of those teams place in the top 10 in the country according to the recent NCAA rankings.

The regional will run from May 8 through May 10.
