The U.S. government has 20/20 vision to see Iraq’s grave violation of human rights, arbitrary arrests and imprisonment of ordinary citizens, violations of U.N. resolutions, unlawful attacks on neighboring nations, and dehumanizing tactics against a weaker ethnic or religious group. Seeing this, the United States is willing to attack Iraq unilaterally. However, the United States turns a blind eye to Israel’s very same grave violation of human rights, arbitrary arrests and imprisonment of ordinary citizens, violations and rebuffs of U.N. resolutions, unlawful attack on neighboring nations and dehumanizing tactics against a weaker ethnic or religious group. In fact, the United States dismisses Israel’s actions as self-defense. In all fairness, how can we have 20/20 vision to see what’s going on in Iraq and be blind to what’s going on in Israel?
