Tiny Footprint Coffee is now being sold in Kowalski’s Markets in the Twin Cities.
As the Daily wrote in September, Tiny Footprint is a carbon-negative coffee brand based in Minneapolis. For every pound of coffee the roaster produces, the company purchases 54 pounds of carbon offsets.
All of the offsets are donated to the Mindo Cloudforest in Ecuador and go toward reforestation efforts.
Being a University of Minnesota graduate, project manager Kyle Meehan said one of his goals for the year-old company, is to have the coffee offered at the University of Minnesota.
Currently the University isn’t accepting any new contracts for its coffee lineup, but the company has begun to offer its coffee at the Campus Club on fourth floor of Coffman Union.
