Elmo awoke to some annoying dance tune on the radio, suddenly remembering he was late for an audition for an acting position on the Showboat. In a scurry, he cooked up some cheese omelets, drank a big bottle of Colt 45 and left for his big audition. Before hopping into his Volkswagon bug, Elmo left with the dance lyrics: “Y’all ready for this” stuck in his head. So he thought, “Today will be partly sunny with a chance of thunderstorms and a high in the middle 70s. Friday will be warmer with a high in the 80s.” To Elmo’s surprise, his car was stolen and his dream of being a big-time entertainer went down the drain. Talk about a bad day.
