Air strikes between Palestinians and Israelis continued Monday while peace talks continue in Egypt.
Speaking in Egypt, Hamas leader Khaled Meshal dared Israel to launch a ground invasion of Gaza, the New York Times reports.
Palestinian forces have fired 1,000 rockets into Israeli territory since the conflict began, according to CNN.
Israel had 80 strikes on Monday, mostly targeting government buildings, police stations and the homes of Hamas officials, according to the Israeli Defense Forces.
The United States and much of Europe has blamed Hamas for the continued violence, while the Arab and Muslim nations cast blame on the Israelis, CNN reports.
The Guardian reports a top Israeli official said there is a "50-50" chance of Israel invading Gaza.
