For the first time in the history of the Big Ten/ACC Challenge, the Big Ten has emerged with more wins than its conference counterpart.
Wisconsin upset No. 6 Duke in Madison and Illinois won at No. 18 Clemson as the Big Ten won six of the 11 games in the 2009 Challenge, which took place Monday through Wednesday. The Badgers never trailed in their 73-69 victory over the Blue Devils. The Illini trailed the Tigers by as many as 23 points early in the second half before rallying for a 76-74 road win.
