A UMN facilities management worker was assaulted on Monday night at the Mayo Building, according to a timely warning email sent by University of Minnesota police.

After the victim asked the suspect to leave Mayo Building, the suspect attacked him with a bottle at around 11 p.m. Monday. The victim was treated at the hospital and sustained no life threatening injuries.

The email advises anyone who sees the suspect to refrain from approaching him and to alert the police.
