The Library Bar and Grill, located in Dinkytown, was burglarized early Monday morning. Between 3:15 and 7:45 a.m., a 500-pound safe containing eight cash registers and the weekendâÄôs earnings was stolen, said Jesse Garcia, spokesman for the Minneapolis Police Department. âÄúIt took about four people to install the safe, so it must have taken quite a few people to take it out,âÄù he said. âÄúI am assuming it was a large amount of cash.âÄù Some evidence was found at the scene and is being processed, but as of Monday evening there were no suspects, he said.
