The final musician for the University of Minnesota’s Spring Jam lineup was announced Friday.
Performers for the one-day music festival, slated for April 27 and hosted by Student Unions and Activities, include the Battle of the Bands winner, Ella Vos, Jay Rock and Waka Flocka Flame.
Started in 1993, the annual performance includes free food and carnival rides, with tickets for the live-music performances ranging from $25 to $40. Tickets for the event went on sale Friday at noon.
Earlier this week, SUA announced that Mason Ramsey, a 12-year-old yodeling boy who went viral last year, would also be performing. This announcement received mixed reviews from students.
The Battle of the Bands will be hosted at Coffman Union on April 26 to determine the opening performers.
Last year’s performers included Lil Yachty, Ella Mai, Cashmere Cat and Remo Drive.
