Was it really necessary to start the article called, “Gophers drop the ball in eighth straight Big Ten loss,” with a sentence that said, “It took a late collapse, but the Gophers managed to keep their long losing streak alive?” Was it necessary to juxtapose this with a picture of a player reaching out to console a teammate?
I think we can agree that the players are trying their hardest. Do we really need to try to humiliate them?
