Thousands of people gathered to celebrate the annual 2017 Pride Parade in downtown Minneapolis on Hennepin Avenue Sunday. 

The beginning of the Pride Parade on Sunday June, 25 was interrupted by protesters. Police officers marched this year within the parade interacting with community in the crowd along the parade path. 

The parade was followed by a two-day festival celebrating all things LGBT, including 400 exhibitor booths, 40 food vendors, and four stages.
