A warm Minneapolis will welcome a “Frozen” superstar to Northrop Auditorium on Aug. 13, according to the Star Tribune.
Idina Menzel is the star voice of Elsa in the film “Frozen” and famously performed “Let it Go” at last year's Oscars after John Travolta flubbed her name in front of a worldwide audience.
Menzel’s campus appearance is just one on her 2015 World Tour, according to Northrop.
Tickets, priced between $75 and $100, will go on sale at 10 a.m on Dec. 5 through Northrop’s online ticketing system.
Though Menzel’s recent fame has had plenty to do with wintry weather, the Minneapolis concert location has nothing to do with city’s famed cold climate, said Cari Hatcher, Northrop Auditorium’s marketing and publicity director.
Menzel also recently released a music video for a duet with Michael Bublé. The song, another cold-weather anthem, is “Baby It’s Cold Outside.”
