Starbucks has submitted a request to the Minneapolis City Council to open earlier in locations across the city, writes the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal.
In Dinkytown and Stadium Village, the request could see students getting their morning coffee at 5:30 in the morning. The Stadium Village location is planned to open at this earlier time
Monday through Friday, but the Dinkytown location would open at 5:30 am daily, according to city documents.
City reports for the request recommend that both of the locations be allowed to open earlier.
The City’s Community Development and Regulatory Services Committee will vote on the requests Tuesday. The request will then be considered for approval at the following City Council meeting.
