Ten suspects allegedly assaulted a 22-year-old man outside Sally’s Saloon last month, leaving him seriously injured, according to a Minneapolis police report filed Thursday.
Police suspect that Badgers fans attending a University football game are responsible for the attack.
The Bloomington man was walking along Washington Avenue with a friend on Oct. 9 when about 10 men jumped him, knocking him unconscious, according to the police report. The victim’s friend was not attacked.
While the victim was on the ground, the suspects repeatedly kicked him in the face, the report stated. The victim suffered impaired vision and broken facial bones.
The man, who is not affiliated with the University, was brought to Southdale Hospital where he underwent cosmetic surgery.
No arrests have been made.

ù A 45-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint Thursday, according to a Minneapolis police report.
A suspect approached the southeast Minneapolis man in a car at 25th Avenue and Delaware Street Southeast early Thursday morning, according to the report.
The victim recognized the suspect and later told police he used to play ball with him.
The suspect demanded money and pulled out a black revolver, the report stated.
After searching the victim’s wallet, the suspect drove away with $200, according to the report. No one witnessed the robbery.
ù A suspect attempted to break into a small corner-grocery store last week, according to a Minneapolis police report.
A Tower Grocery employee said he heard loud noises at the back of the 50 Bedford St. S.E. building, the report stated.
When the employee went to investigate the noises, he noticed that a security bar was ajar and the doorjamb was on the floor, according to the report.
The employee scared away the suspect, who was still trying to enter the building, the report stated.
Police later found a tire-iron near the rear door of the business.
The owner of Tower Grocery could not be reached for comment.
ù A 37-year-old man was arrested Friday after assaulting a woman at knifepoint, according to a Minneapolis police report.
The 26-year-old woman told police the Minneapolis man threatened her with a large knife, the report stated.
Police were en route to the suspect’s residence at 52 Williams Ave. S.E. to recover stolen property when the woman reported the assault, according to the report.
