Two robberies took place Friday, according to a SAFE-U alert sent out that afternoon.

The first robbery occurred at approximately 2:44 p.m. at the intersection of 29th Avenue Southeast and Como Avenue Southeast. A second robbery took place near the same location shortly after.

Initial reports indicate that both suspects were male, between the ages of 19 and 25. One suspect wore a green jacket while the other wore a black hoodie.

A gun was reportedly seen in one of the robberies.
