Coming out of Eden Prairie in 2017, Sapp was a three-star recruit and the number two overall recruit from Minnesota in his class.
In two seasons with Minnesota, Sapp played in 24 of 26 possible games. He recorded eight tackles in that span. However, Sapp did not play in the Gophers’ season opener against Michigan last Saturday.
