A robbery was reported in the apartment lobby of WaHu Apartments on Thursday night, according to an all-campus alert.
Initial reports indicate that the suspects were three males and two females that assaulted the victim, took her purse and cell phone and ran toward the light rail train platform.
The alert also specified that there were no weapons seen and the victim received medical attention.
The Minneapolis Police Department will be investigating this case.

The “high-profile” incidents are not exactly typical of the police, true enough, but they are far from the only instances of very dubious deployment of force where other means might well have avoided great bodily harm or death on either side.

Sorry to hear about another robbery. I sure hope that student wasn’t a total hypocrite calling the police after getting robbed since TheDaily is always droning on about how students say they don’t feel safe around police! It’s time to wake up and realize that the woke narrative is a false one. Outside of a couple high-profile incidents, the police have thousands of positive interactions with the community everyday whilst criminals… yeah they commit crime. So by shunning the police and making excuses for criminals you’ve decreased safety and increased crime, good job people you played yourselves!
