As the temperature drops, stay cozy, warm and entertained with this week’s heat. From food to cook for Valentine’s Day, to a book speed dating event, A&E has you covered.
Something to watch:
“I May Destroy You”: After the Golden Globe nominations were announced last week, many were up in arms about which shows deserved to be nominated. While “Emily in Paris,” the light-hearted Netflix comedy-drama, received two nominations, “I May Destroy You,” the HBO series that garnered rave reviews and was written, acted, co-directed and produced by Michaela Coel, received none. The show centers around Coel’s character Arabella and the sexual assault she experiences during the first episode. The nomination choice has sparked debate on Twitter and other media platforms, and started conversations about race and power within the entertainment industry. To see why TV critics and devout viewers are upset, watch the 12-episode series for yourself. Available on HBO.
Something to bake:

Whether you’re spending Valentine’s Day solo or with someone else, why not make a chocolate lava cake for two (or two lava cakes for one)? This New York Times Cooking recipe by Yossy Arefi requires pantry staples and is ready within 25 minutes.
