Attempted burglary in Southeast Como Monday night

An attempted burglary occurred at Como and 27th Avenue Southeast on Monday night, according to a SAFE-U alert.
The suspect followed the victim off the bus to the door of his apartment, and then ran at him as he was opening the door. The victim was able to shut and lock the door before the suspect could get in, the campuswide crime alert stated.
The University of Minnesota Police Department is investigating the incident.

I hope that student wasn’t one of the hypocrites who marched against the police on Saturday and is now calling for their help on a Monday. Sad that y’all can’t understand how small-minded and brainwashed you are to listen to such false-narratives without thinking about the consequences! If you have ever called for defunding the police or removing UMPD from the county task force than keep that same energy when you get robbed and do not call 9-1-1, bunch of hypocritical babies.
