I suppose that Sam Fleming worked very hard on his foolish cartoon, with its smug perversion of truth. So, Sam, let’s recall that on October 7, 2023, Hamas-ISIS terrorists crossed the border into Israel, systematically wiping out whole villages, raping, torturing and killing men, women and children, and also murderously targeting a music festival, where hundreds of young people were enjoying a weekend in nature. These vicious Hamas-ISIS terrorists took a couple of hundred hostages and withdrew back into Gaza, hiding in tunnels and waging war from under civilian houses, schools, hospitals and other seemingly nondescript dwellings. Where is your cartoon about that?
The peaceful, innocent Muslim lady in your cartoon is a caricature. Did you forget the countrywide antics of radical pro-Palestinians closing bridges, leaving feces at the houses of Biden administration officials, demonstrating at private homes, interrupting speeches and meetings (Biden and Harris), haranguing city council meetings, shouting down invited speakers whose views they don’t agree with? Did you forget that UMN presidential candidate Laura Bloomberg’s interview was disrupted by shouts of genocide by these rabid demonstrators? By the way, why do you think that they chose just Laura Bloomberg to harangue? (Spoiler alert – it wasn’t because it was Friday.) Where is your cartoon about all that?
And did you forget that UMN is under investigation by the Department of Education for antisemitism? Personally, I would like to request a cartoon about that.
Finally, let me remind you that we elect our leaders to make difficult decisions. Israel is a long-time, proven ally that is a real democracy with an independent judiciary. Israel is fighting to eliminate terrorists who have sworn to commit their genocidal acts again and again. War is not happy affair. Up to now, the Biden administration has been doing the right thing.
