Eclipse
The moon passes in front of the sun during a solar eclipse, revealing solar prominences, faint stars and the glow of the sun’s corona. The corona, normally hidden by the bright light of the sun’s surface, can be seen with the naked eye during the darkness of a total solar eclipse.
