Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey said on Thursday he will run for reelection on WCCO’s radio podcast with Jason DeRusha.

DeRusha said he asked Emily Koski, who was on his show Monday, if she wanted to run for mayor, to which she did not answer either way. When asked the same question, Frey said he was interested in running again but did not make any official statement.

“I have said to you before that I do plan to do so, but I’m not making any announcements today,” Frey said.

Frey has yet to make an official announcement. 

Frey will already have one challenger for the 2025 campaign as Rev. DeWayne Davis announced on Oct. 17 he was running for mayor.
