The Minnesota Gophers football team has finalized its schedule for four of the next five seasons, according to a release by the University of Minnesota on Thursday.
The Gophers have complete non-conference schedules for the 2010, 2011, 2013, and 2014 seasons. The Big Ten has only released its schedule through 2012.
Minnesota will have a Thursday night opener at Middle Tennessee State, and has added a home game against Northern Illinois for the 2010 campaign.
The Gophers have added home games against and New Mexico State and New Hampshire in 2011 and 2012, respectively.
A home-and-home series with North Carolina – where Gophers head coach Tim Brewster coached from 1989-97 – has been added to the 2013-2014 schedules.
