The St. Anthony Main Theater stands vacant on Monday Oct. 5th. The 8th annual Cine Latino, an event celebrating Spanish and Portuguese filmmakers, is scheduled for the week of October 15-22. The event is usually hosted at the theater, but will be virtual this year, due to the pandemic.

Flip the Script Fest, coming this weekend, is leaving Hollywood's stereotypical tropes behind and spotlighting queer people as the main characters.
Portraits for a Purpose founder Hossam Halaweish takes a photo of Connor Corsini on Friday, Sept. 25 in Minneapolis. “At the time COVID was starting, I knew a lot of people were struggling a lot harder than I was," Halaweish explains. He decided to start Portraits for a Purpose, a photography business that donates its proceeds to various nonprofits.

The Bogey’s Lounge stands in St. Paul on Monday Sep. 27th. The business was one of several shooting locations for Student Directors Andrew Zuckerman, Dylan Orth and John Cronin for their film "Undergrads," shot over the summer.
