Many University of Minnesota staff and faculty members did not support President Gabel’s recent salary and benefits increase, especially because they said they have not received fair compensation for working through the pandemic.
PSG Congress is recommitting on the current standardized policy for the University to allow students to attend remotely if they have a legitimate reason.
In an email sent on Nov. 19, an University administrator wrote that some dining facilities would remain closed due to understaffing, which caused students to express their opinions about the University’s minimum wage and working conditions on social media.
