Minneapolis city candidates spoke with students in an effort to get over 60% of students to vote this November.

As students return to campus, many still have public health concerns regarding the Delta variant of COVID-19.

The initiative has found that the University is highly decentralized and fragmented with many employees performing jobs that do not come with their title. PEAK leaders will provide recommendations to address these issues in early October.

University leaders and state-wide partners are pushing to educate students about the financial options available to help pay for college.

The University of Minnesota joins other Big Ten universities in launching the “One Big Week” fundraiser in an effort to support the campus food pantry.

Among other priorities for the 2021-22 academic year, the Faculty Consultative Committee is prioritizing improving communications between the FCC and faculty to ensure important concerns are heard and brought to senior leadership.

The University President also addressed concerns about mandates and COVID-19 classroom procedures.

Eligible career paths include health care, business, STEM and education.
