With 100% of precincts reporting according to the Secretary of State website, Minnesota Democrats were able to retain their high-level state seats.
There are seven polling places for students who are living on or near the Minneapolis campus. Polls are open until 8 p.m.

Regent Steve Sviggum’s term ends in the spring. The announcement came after Sviggum made comments questioning the Morris campus’s diversity.

The University will pay additional UMPD and MPD officers overtime to patrol the Dinkytown and Marcy-Holmes area Nov. 4-5 and Nov. 11-12.
