Gopher CA hockey fan is biggest star in Minnesota’s student section

From the Long Beach Ice Dogs to the Anaheim Ducks and now the Minnesota Gophers, Andrew Mercado injects a unique energy into every team he follows on the ice.
The hammer throw group is ranked first in the nation and Kostas Zaltos, a 23-year-old international student from Greece, is leading the group.
