Minnesota lost 34-3 to No. 1 Oklahoma State on Sunday

Last season Strandemo placed 147th in the final meet, this year she placed 51st.

J Robinson would've been entering his 30th season with the Gophers this year.

The Minnesota women’s cross country team will send Strandemo to the national meet, but will not attend as a team.

Minnesota had strong showings at their first home invitational of the season.

Minnesota head coach Kelly Kremer served as an assistant for the Big Ten Women's All-Star team and five Gophers swimmers competed.

Madeline Strandemo was Minnesota's top finisher in the meet last year and took 34th.
