Assistant professor of aerospace engineering Jian Sheng and aerospace engineering senior Yan Ming Tan assemble their high seed underwater 3D camera Saturday in Akerman Hall.  The camera is able to capture the interactions of algae with particles of oil, which could help scientists better understand impacts of the spill in the Gulf on the ocean’s carbon cycle.
